On your side of the table, not the seller's.
A buyer's agent represents only you. We define the brief, search on and off market, check price and condition, negotiate, and coordinate the lawyer, bank and notary to the deed. For first time buyers, relocators and investors.

Where to buy in the Lisbon area
Straight answers
General guidance, not legal advice. We confirm the specifics for your property.
What does a buyer's agent do in Lisbon?
+
A buyer's agent represents only the buyer: they define the brief, search on and off market, assess price and condition, negotiate, and coordinate the lawyer, bank and notary through to the deed.
Can foreigners buy property in Portugal?
+
Yes. There are no restrictions on foreign buyers. You need a Portuguese tax number (NIF) and usually a Portuguese bank account. We arrange both.
What are the costs of buying property in Lisbon?
+
Budget roughly 7 to 10% on top of the price: property transfer tax (IMT, progressive), stamp duty of 0.8%, notary and land registry fees, and legal fees.
How long does it take to buy a property in Portugal?
+
Typically 6 to 12 weeks from accepted offer to deed: a promissory contract (CPCV) with a deposit, then the final deed (escritura).
Can I rent my Lisbon property short term?
+
Short term rental (Alojamento Local) needs a licence, and Lisbon restricts new licences in some parishes. We check this before you buy; mid term and monthly lets are an alternative.
How do I sell my property in Lisbon?
+
Request a free valuation, gather the energy certificate and property documents, then we market it to our buyer network and international portals and negotiate through to the deed.
